So, I'm curious. Where did "Corvette" come from in the name?

It's a ship type. A small vessel, used for patrol, and escort duties.

Ah. And a Corvette today is a small, fast car that can go most places. Makes sense that they would use an ancient artifact to name a modern wessel.

Actually the Corvette, as a ship class goes back to the old wooden sailing ships.

I had to guess. But with the way the top was shaped, and the fact the designer said I got it right...Torp tubes, and the blue thing in the center is the nav deflector
