The Skaro Class Automated Destroyer/Scout is a design by me. And is based off of the Dalek saucers of old.

The Skaro Class was an attempt at making a fully automated ship. And was also made a test bed for a new type of warp engine. With no lifeforms to worry about. Starfleet Engineering incorperated the "nacelles" into the saucer, itself.

Though capable of carrying a small crew. The ship is fully automated. Relying on a dual computer core, and a small host of maintenance drones, created by Davros Industries, known as D.A.L.E.Ks

The ship is the only one of it's kind. As the over logical, and literal nature of the ships computer, caused it to be a liability. And the engines were too unstable, and tended to make small time jumps nearly 10% of the time. May consider later uses in time exploration, when the technology becomes more reliable.

Drone Automated: Linked Experience and Knowledge.

Drones assigned to the Skaro Class, to be used as maintenance, internal defense and to exterminate any unauthorized or hostile lifeforms.

Programmed with the ability too learn and adapt, each D.A.L.E.K. is also programmed in specific task abilities. Such as basic maintenance, scientific research, engineering and security. With one Supreme D.A.L.E.K. to coordinate assignments.

Starfleet believed that the new automation technology would surpass Daystom's failed M5 computer. One Admiral was quoted as saying: "What could possibly go wrong?"
