This is based off the original Fireman Sam tv show from the 80's version( which I prefer over the new CGI one...as well as the 2000's stop motion reboot)Something about the toymation feel the original series had makes it much more appealing
anyway this is a w.i.p...head complete...body will be done eventually...

Yes, the Bumper Films episodes do have a toyland like charm to them like allot of British kids shows of that time. borisfedorov.deviantart.com/arβ¦

The main three I can think of that kinda have that style is Fireman Sam, Postman Pat, and Noddy. The animation is a little jerky but I like that about it. Plus the attention to detail on the sets made it even more appealing to look at.

I get what you mean with the detailed backgrounds. As for me, even with the static mouths, the animation isn't that jerky in my eye's. Like I've seen a couple of anime's done using more easy mediums for mouth movement and frame by frame animation and it feels more rushed and stiff production wise than those simple British kids shows from that 1981 to 1996 time period.

Agreed, like the you got to put efforts into the visuals and animation even if have yourself a TV deadline.
