Very nice contrast between the white of the mist and the darker tones of the details standing out such as the trees.

Wonderful~! The fog, to me, creates another feeling of mystery. This scene reminds me of a book I once read, which I forgot the title of... Anywho, the fog makes me imagine that there is something under the fog and the mountains are splendid~!

I liked the feeling of it. The choice of b&w may not work always but here it seems to have succeeded.

My two suggestions would be to crop slightly from above despite the beautiful gradual sky: That would bring more attention to the lighter mist. Secondly, I would kindly suggest to clear the dust spots on the rightside in the sky.

thank you so much and yes in my haste I missed the dust spots!! a cardinal sin I always try to avoid! I like the suggestion on cropping as well. thank you so much for another very useful and informative comment. simon
