Another shot of my favourite place on earth. The wasdale Valley in Cumbria englan is home to Wastwater Lake, the deepest lake in England, ringed on three sides by glorious Lakeland Fells. With every second of the day the scenery changes before you like a constantly evolving canvas as the sun and clouds cast their light and shadows upon the fell and water.for this photograph, I processed in photoshop cs5, then into nik hdr pro, where I used the single photo setting then tweaked the end result in the same programme. Not to everyones taste I appreciate, but on this occassion I was drawn to the result and put it up to hear the thoughts of others as to the effect.
To everyone that favourites any of my work, please accept in advance my sincere thanks for doing so. For those that comment on this or any other photograph, you will always recieve a reply. I am very lazy in these days. I was out for a week, I was visiting Istanbul!..

Not strayed too far from home except for a quick dawn shoot again yesterday, some results uploaded here. Biding my time before going for spinal surgery in near future. so gathering loads of photography reading off the net to keep me sane during recovery!!

No worries Jonathan, you should join your brother for the lakes part. If I remember rightly I think starting from cumbria end is from Robins Hood Bay. If you look up bit torrents for downloading online etc, you will find there is an edition of wainwrights walks, that covers specifically the coast to coast walk with the great man himself. got a copy here somewhere in a box!!
