Something I started last night, and finished today. For the first time I visioned something in my head, wanted to draw it, and just did. Almost lost the entire file because of Painter, sometimes that program is such a pain in the ass. I'm really proud of this though, although if there is anything that could be improved please let me know. Thank you!8-ish hours photoshop/Painter IX

ah, you know, I'm hugely influenced by Burton's movies. I love Edward Scissorhands, one of my favorite movies and soundtracks ever. When I did my animation this song is subliminally what I had in mind, and this image is supposed to follow that animation. Thank you for pointing it out, I don't usually place music to my illustrations but I love it when people do

I think it'll be lovelier (as well as gloomier) if you put cracks. I'm not sure if the cracks should be at her face or in the ears of her gear skirt. It's a good way to show how long she's been there.
I think the presence of tears (frozen tears, or frozen in time tears, since time has already stopped here) would be good too.

I wish I could do that too. Sometimes I got pretty cool ideas in my head but I can't put them into the paper... Besides, I can't even draw backgrounds so my drawings are kind of empty x_xu (I can't paint either, although I try several times in Photoshop)

I just saw your animation about the clocktower girl. So when I look at this picture it really looks amazing. And considering the story behind it I'm wondering what happend to the happy little town/world.

Yes this is where those paintings came from. I did all the illustrations as concept work. Thank you! I wanted it to be the uplifting kind of sad, something different from normal fun animations.

Actually I technically did. The other pieces in my gallery that are 3d, are my thesis which is about a clockgirl. This was my alternate reality for her. The animation will be up in a few days. Thanks for the favorite too !
