I'm experimenting with colors. I haven't got a good handle on color theory so I'm using these little character designs to help me figure out my problems. I kind of want to make a little story about these guys and make a picture book for it. However I MUST STICK TO ONE PROJECT AT A TIME. So after I finish another important project I might work on this.I am so damn satisfied with how that little hunter and the green grocer (pun really not intended) came out it's rediculous.

Just look at one and start writing down words, they're likes, dislikes (maybe another character on the page

Interesting way of studying theory, this. I hope it works as you hope it will. That said, I have no real concept of colour theory--I barely understand theory inside the disciplines in which I hold degrees, much less anywhere else. 
I suppose I should go Google and see if I can at least work out what colour theory might be.
