A: OMG TERRY PRATCHETT DON'T SMITE ME FOR NOT DOING THIS AWESOME CHARACTER JUSTICE.B: By the title I obviously mean the personification Death and not all of the elephants and turtle and whatnot dying.
Terry Pratchett rocks my socks. :3 I drew this with light reference from the illustrated "The Last Hero" but other than that it's pretty obvious that I didn't work my fingers off trying to make him look good.
Monochrome Prismacolor markers and some blue and brown watercolor.

You haven't read The Last Hero? Oh you should. It's illustrated and AMAZING. It's about Cohen, Rincewind, Death and a bunch of the other reoccuring characters. They go to the moon!
The Wee Free Men is the first in the Tiffany Aching story-line right? Yes I've read that one. Agreed that it's also great.

Have you never read the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett? If you haven't I'd suggest Mort, in which Death takes on an apprentice. My fav.

Holy crap! That is just adorable! You have really captured the cuddly and nice part of him, and I love it. Death is the cutest character in the Discworld books, and its a shame that there are so little fanart of him here on DA. Well done!

I love the folds of the coat and how realistic they are, also the little chibi Death's are too cute 
The Last Hero eh? We have it at the libary at school, but I found it rather difficult to understand at the beginning, by the way have you read "Reaper Man"? If you haven't I think you might like it
