Bal Tyroth... a Balrog...?(I find it's so hard to draw a Balrog/demon these days without it ending up somehow looking like a Weta clone lol...)

did you make it the same way i make pics? with airbrish and smudged shapes and lines? i dont know any terminologies... :S im here to learn i guess
i liked your comment, 'without it ending up somehow looking like a Weta clone' hahahha i can imagine, those concept artists for that movie have alot to answer for, but it your drawing is still original. i have read the books or ever seen any other version of a balrog so im really liking your version!!!

Cheers dude...yeah, its airbrush,smudge and burn. Its made in Jasc paint shop pro 7, a really old paint program that I self taught myself to use..

is it really that old??? hehehehe i got it fro free on some cd that came with a magazine, everything i use was either free or very cheap!!

im going alright so far though, i've been using it for a few years, and started with paint shop pro 4...i dont remember how old i was but i was quite young, and then i kept my eye out for each edition after that. the main problem i have, because i use it to make the frames in my animations, is having the save the pics as a new number by going 'save as' then typing in the number then save, then yes save anyway cuz i dont care that a jpg loses the layers and when im making hudreds of images it just makes the process so much longer having to go through all that...so what im getting at is: do you know if there is a way to save the your pic as a new name by simply pressing a button or shortcut or something. did that make sense??
and also, if there is any way you can save a set of processes and give em all a shortcut so i can hit a button and it iwill automatically change the colour+contrast+sharpness etc etc exactly the same way, so i can do the same processes with several pics, than that would be helpful. i doubt that there is anything on paint shop pro that can do this, because there wouldnt be much demand for such a feature...but if you know anythin then give me a yell cuz it would help alot.
