The ship design makes me think like a sedan is trying to break escape veocity!

I've never heard of EV Nova, In fact it was worked up from a painting I did in the 80's, There might be a bit of subliminal influence from Star Trek!

That seems likely. To be fair, just about all shuttle like designs look a bit like flying toasters in space.
