The main wave was actually referenced from a photograph I took on Looe beach, in a force 8 gale, (In reality it was nowhere near as big as it appears in the picture, however it has been distorted and had the colour changed to the point where it is a totally different piece, (The original was in bright sunshine), I got the idea from some pictures I saw of waves crashing against stone lighthouses, (although this one is made of wood) the sea in the forgound was then built up using a wacom tablet, and sampling colours fom the body of the picture.

Thanks, You should hearthe song, it is based on a true story concerning the Smalls Rock lighthouse of the coast of north wales, you will find the story on the coastguard website, or if you put smalls rock into google,it is pretty grisly.
