first rate work like something out of Bulldog Drummond or Dick Barton Special Agent. I'd love to see something like this in a shop

Very kind of you to say so. There's always a (slim) chance that it may be available at some time in the future as the prototype has been presented to a few figure companies. I never hold my breath though as only a small percentage of offering get put into production. I'd love to see it in the shops though :_)

i don't even see why they would hesitate to put it into production, it looks so high quality, and it has such a uniqueness about it.I'm a complete amateur, trying to get more into this sort of thing, of building 1/6 scale things, and this has got such attention to detail, i can't even brain how i would even start if i wanted to do something like this. It's amazing. Even if you didn't manage to get it supported by a company, i'm pretty sure people would buy this if it was in communitys like Etsy or even just a listing on Ebay. This stuff isn't exactly easy to come by, i seen someone simply print out small 1/6 photos of Harvey Dent for the Bane hot toys figure, and they put it on a forum for sale and they went crazy over it :L simple things like that get attention in those communitys, let alone a bookcase that doubles as a armory! xD

Many thanks. I'm affraid I don't have templates as I make these things up as I go along (I just copied the general design from a full size Victorian book case I have in the studio).

Man youre good with these.
In some time, in history, queens and such, i hear, had also toilets, in libraries etc, disguised as normal chairs and benches.

I made the Bookcase, books and key. The figure and the weapons are Hot Toys, BBI and Dragon proprietry stuff. This is a prototype intended to interest the 6th scale industry with a view to it being produced as an accessory which the buyer fits out with their own 6th scale weapons.
