Description
My favourite movie of all time.I hate the fact that Spielberg K.Oed Muldoon. I love how, in the novel, he gets injured and pissed up and is running around armed to the teeth and shit-faced.
Still love the movie though! Bob Peck (as with the rest of the cast) was ace!!!
My fave is still Alan Grant though. I wore a blue shirt and Khakis for years after that. Hold on. I am today!!!

[Ah, shit. Looked at this again and his left eye (on OUR right) is so so wrong. Too low down. What was I thinking. Damned quick sketches...]
[EDIT]
I've tweaked this now because the eye was bugging me so friggin' much. I've moved his eye, changed the crappy speech bubble and added a little beautiful JP logo on the bottom. Looks like a collector's card now.

muldoon is my 2nd most favorite character in Jurassic Park. The only character I loved slightly more is Donald Gennaro.

Gennaro? That's very left field. Were you a fan of the book before the movie by any chance? Both Muldoon AND Gennaro got shafted in the movie. Even if I do love it so...

I especially love characters who meet a grisly death... so yes... that plays a major role in my favoritism for Gennaro and Muldoon over the others. I don't like it when a character's fate is left to an unknown end... I prefer when they receive a brutal yet memorable demise; the likes of that in JP are very awesome and they shall remain my favorites in the history of the JP movies, closely followed by Eddie Carr in the second flick. I personally disliked the third movie minus the character of Udesky, who was the only element of the 3rd movie I actually did like.

Ah, right. See, in the novel, Muldoon and Gennaro both survive and have larger roles in the story. And Gennaro is a much more sympathetic character in the novel. A lot of his traits were given to Malcolm for the film.

Yes, true. I really do prefer the film rendition of the characters as they are given a more self-caring characteristic and portray genuine fear and are killed off onscreen just the way I love.

I'd have to say Jurassic Park is probably one of the more underrated classics. That movie had way more impact on the cinema world than what I think people credit for... being plain awesome was one of those.

I don't know if you were around in 1993 when it first came out, but it was THE big thing of the day. But, alas, over the years people have knocked it. It's the film that got me thinking the way I do now though. Action, adventure, story, colour and surreality.
Love. That. Movie.

Ah, dude, the only thing that could've been bigger than this movie back in '93 would've been Gandhi rising from the grave!

I saw it 9 times in the cinema with my mates. It blew our little minds! We were 11 years old and we collected all of the action figures, stickers, cards, toys etc etc etc

I was only 6 at the time, that scene where Newman got killed by the dilophosaurus (the thing with the frills) scared the shit out of me. actually had nightmares for days after it

Newman? You mean Nedry? It was ace. I thought Alan Grant was so cool I took up wearing blue shirts all the time.

Nedry, yeah, but I always called him Newman because of Seinfeld.
I was too young to realize he was a badguy at the time. All I could think was, "Newman! YAY!" and then he died
But yeah, I was all about the Malcolm, him and his silly Chaos Theory

Never seen Seinfeld. I've heard of it but that's it.
Malcome was too trendy for my liking. I was all about being the rugged cowboy. Not a lot has changed. I even wanted to be a paleontologist. I'd go digging in the clay riverbanks and find fossilised shells.
