this really conveys what the Dust Bowl was. It put a halt to mechanization of farms across the nation. There's no way that anything would come up from the sun-baked, dusty, sandy soil that was so prevalent during the Dust Bowl.

Really? I have no idea myself. I drew it from reference for historical accuracy. Made the colours up, though. Thought I'd go with a non-specific faded green, mostly rusted / sand-blasted off.

I believe it was pretty much the majority of Texas and ... What ever county is next door to it, got covered in dust and sand and shit. Check it out. Just google the dust bowl.

Whoa! Heck yeah! I remember studying the Dust Bowl very briefly in High School, more like just a detail like "Oh yeah, period of droughts that fucked up American farms. Moving on!" That's crazy scary!
