Got stuck on Princess Luna's 90's design so I took a break to create this design - meet Princess Andromeda Dapperpaws, the daughter of Twilight Sparkle and Capper Dapperpaws! She's the pride of her parents eye and definitely has a lot of their personalities - for better or worse. As Capper would say about his precious little kitten (as he also has said about his wife) "Andromeda's favorite color is obedience."

She's glad you think that - though don't let the demure, sophisticated appearance fool you - she's quite the spitfire (while also being very regal - it's quite the talent)

She's feisty and neurotic and an absolute control freak - a mouthy streak that won't quit and enough contingency plans to win about five wars - also outside of her royal attire she has the dress sense of a clothes-line. I absolutely adore her. <3

She has the most developed personality because she's based on one of my favorite characters ever, so can't take credit for that - thank you though! I'm working on developing her baby siblings on my own hehehe!

You are! Her name's Lynda Day from the old tv show Press Gang! I wanted to watch some of Steven Moffat's work (he's one of my personal heroes) and I absolutely fell for her - right from the pilot. And I wanted to base a character off of her and what better character than the daughter of Capperlight, the relationship that reminds me of the one Spike (from Press Gang) had with Lynda!

I can't say I've watched that particular Moffat work (I was probably too young, or not even born at that point) but I did enjoy the TintinΒ movie that came out a few years ago. It's one of my favorite movies to date now.Β Maybe I should take a leaf out of your book and use inspirations from other shows rather than trying to come up with something on my own and struggling.

I hadn't either until just a few months ago - I decided to watch out of curiosity and I absolutely adored it!Β
And yeah, it's a good starting point to take inspiration from places and then use it to come up with your own ideas - I recommend it!
