Description
Mostly referred to as they/them, Mioxius is another weird result of the Plague Doctor's experimentation, based on research on the body of the diseased. Mioxius, usually shortened to Mio, was rather a rat brought to consciousness through some questionable magic practices. Mio's head clearly resembles a distorted rat skull, missing a lower jaw, and weidly enough, lacks any eyes yet their eyesight seems to not be impaired, seeing just as well as a human. The body is covered with thick grey fur up to their hands and feet. Mio's long tail lacks fur as well. Despite having lived for a few decades, Mio can be somewhat childish and uncaring for human traditions and customs, but in no way is Mio unintelligent. Their little interest in human standards is closer to an expression of independence, Mio's morality shining when it comes to friends.

After gaining a new body and mind, Mio became a grave digger for the Plague Doctors, as some of their other experiments did not choose to remain dead after burial and it became Mio's job to battle and keep these experiments in the ground. After the years following the disappearance of the Plague Doctors, Mio chose to continue this mission of holding back the creatures that visit cemeteries. Meanwhile, it turns out Mio has necromancer abilities, which developed more and more in this environment.
At some point Mio will meet Mortigus and create a friendship where they bring out the idiot from each other, as they find themselves much more comfortable and lax in their companionship.
