So so close, so so innocent, so so close, so so unaware. So so close, so so alive and yet fated to die. Pescan reside not on the top of the food chain, nor at the bottom, but the existence of the Bobbit Leviathan only brings the demise of a Pescan. When traversing the barren, sandy ocean floor, the Pescan take the risk to fall prey to the ambush of such beasts.

Idiot's Note: Hoh boy, this took a few days to finish. It was a doozy and it isn't as good as I wanted, but somehow at the same time it's better than I expected. The pose is a little bit inspired by Spider-man, he is a gold-mine of inspirsation in this regard. The background was a bit tricky, I wanted a proper background and not the usual purely black and white abstract background. It might have worked in this case, but I challenge myself a bit and went with the current style. The shading, at the very least on Dinte, turned out incredible in my opinion. I really love looking at that part of this piece, it's comforting and satisfying. The thicker line art was a gamble as well, I hope it pays off! Hope you guys like it as much as I do!
