I don't think that'd been possible for the time due to a segregated society. We wete a racist society back then. Even the diner and bathrooms were segregated.

Racist slurs were often hurled at black people if they upset a white person for any reason.

If an african american man ever did get into office at the time, a mob probably would have forced him out of office and lynched him.

It was unheard of at the time for a white man to be seen in the company of a black woman or black man with a white woman or for the black woman to have kuds with a white man or black man to gave kids wirh a white woman at the time.

I'm glad we are no longer a segregated society but we still judge others unfortunately today.

Same here. I'm often judged for being fat by my parents and almost everyone else around me.

It's gotten to point where the only time i go outside, is for work.

Just be you.   If you need to control your weight, then do it slowly.  I've been doing it for the past three years and slowly getting back down to a comfortable size.  Take the walk around the block when you have the time.  But make the time.
