Only Maiya is complaining about her injured leg. Can the other two sisters not feel the injury on her leg?

I thought that as well after making it, but the best explanation I have would be while Maiya is feeling the cut like normal, it would be more like a scratch or itch to her sisters depending on how painful it is.

I guess some people have more tolerance for pain than others. I know a guy who got a serious injury on his thumb in a construction accident, and his only reaction was calmly saying βoh, uh, can someone call an ambulance please?β. Heβs OK now.

That's good to hear he's alright, that must have been pretty nasty injury. But yeah Alanna is too angry at their bully to really notice and Olivia is just terrified of being hurt herself as she's literally trapped.
