Description
I felt like drawing a magical girl so I drew one of my OCs, Scarlet! ^_^ Her staff is (so creatively) called "The Staff of Hours" and can manipulate the flow of time. She grows magic wings when she uses the powers!
I drew her in a slightly more cutesy style than normal. I was trying to stay true(er) to the anime style and restrain myself from adding more details. I also altered her bangs a little... Maybe I'll keep them that way.
I attempted a magical girl transformation type background thing...ehh. I also minimized my sketching this time and tried a few new shading methods.

I was listening to the Madoka Magica OST while making this. (It is fantastic!)

EDIT: Toned down the sparkles and background a little and also added a shadow.
