Umm, I am hesitant to post this now, but JaxHalf is my least favourite Jay shipping. For some reason, Half-moon didn't stir anything other than boredom. This picture is still excellent though. But to my main point; this song always made me wonder, what happens at the end of a thousand years? Does she just stop loving him and leave him for another thousand year affair? One thousand years is actullay a very, very, VERY short time in geography. Our species appeared 200,000 years ago, but if you put Earth's history on a 12 hour clock, humans would have evolved only a few seconds ago. So if 200,000 years amounts to just a few seconds, how long do you think 1,000 is going to amount to?

Ah, well, if you look at it logically, it sort of destroys the purpose of the song.

I think it means that the love that they have for the other is strong and sincere, long enough to last for a thousand years (maybe even more).
