Thanks!!!!
If you like doing Space art and want to make some planet or planets surface backdrops, Terragen is Free and Mojoworld has Transporter for Free ( where you can use the worlds already created by other and explore and render fantastic surfaces and planets. Apophysis is great too but it is hit and miss for a kewl Space like flame....

ive tried terragen before but i didnt really like it. i like to have more precise control over my images so im not a big fan of random seed / fractal generated stuff. ill check out the other apps tho, ive been meaning to look at apophysis for some time and im hoping they have a mac version..

LOL Apophysis ( apophysis.org ) is a free and easy to use fractal maker.... Universe (diardsoftware.com ) is software that lets you add nebulaes, star etc , they have plugin and standalone versions.. and PP10 is Picture Publisher 10 by Corel, sorta like PS7 only easier to use... LOL
