Description
According to the legend, unicorns could only be tamed by the innocence of a virgin holding a mirror...I thought I'd better do a more traditional unicorn picture to make up for my tongue in cheek Unikorn .

very good
but the unicorn's horn is at the wrong angle. it's pointing up instead of forward.

Ya, getting that right drove me nuts.
Maybe it's one of those rare "backwards pointing horn" unicorns.

The horse was actually part of the grass background that I turned into the hill. Check out the original stock and you'll see.

This is so cool! The only thing that seems a little off is the angle of the unicorn's... unicorn. It seems like it should be forshortened a little, ya know?

I do know what you mean. I stuffed around with that horn for ages but couldn't get it quite right. The first unicorn pic I did was even worse - at least in this one the angle of the horn is right, even if it does need forshortening (I always wondered what the right word for that was!).
I think to do it 100% right as a manip you either need the horse to be side-on so the horn is straight out from its head, or you need a picture of a horn that is actually foreshortened to start with. Trying to do that to a normal, side-on picture of a horn (I used a shell) means it just gets distorted all out of whack.

Yeah, it seems like an awkward angle to figure out. I was looking at it trying to picture the right angle for it, but it's a tuffy. I think forshorten is the right word... Sounds good anyway lol
Ah yeah, forgot about that whole using a picture thing. I was just imagining drawing it in since I always have drawing on the brain.
