I think abortion is horrible. But:Adoption is a matter of who will raise the child once it's been born. Abortions can happen for reasons other than the mother not wanting to raise her child.
Adoption will not resolve the matter of a mother whose body simply cannot support a pregnancy.
Adoption does not solve the matter of a woman whose partner will beat the child out of her if she doesn't have an abortion.
Adoption will not resolve the matter of a teenager whose family won't give her the full nine months to choose between her child and her home.
Adoption does not solve the matter of scared prostitutes being told that their families in another country will be punished if they don't abort.
