Here's a little something to brighten up your day. (:
And a little coloured pencil exercise for me!

Flynn Rider from Disney's Tangled meets Chuck Bartowski from the TV-Show Chuck.

The Beatles inspired me to draw this. I'm totally hooked to the Beatles these days.

-- About the project --

I used a combination of 3 different images. Originally, the screencap of Tangled shows an upset Flynn after he discovered that they have made his nose look ridiculously weird on the "Wanted" flyer...!
I changed the flyer into an illustration of Chuck Bartowski, who works as a spy for the CIA and therefore wanted by bad guys, and I made a matching impression/smirk on Flynn's face, simply because both characters have a lot on common:

- They are played by actor Zachary Levi

- Both characters use a real and fake name. While Flynn Rider confessed his real name is Eugene Fitzherbert, Chuck often uses his spy name Charles Carmichael.

- They are accompanied by adventurous blondes with ninja abilities (and they eventually fall in love with them too!).

- Their characterizations are quite alike too: they got brown hair, brown eyes, they make the funniest faces and act naive but brave.

-- About the drawing --

This was drawn on A5 size (5.9"x7.9" --- 15cm x 20cm) which also means the drawing of Zachary as Chuck is a miniature portrait on its own...!

I used a mixture of graphite pencils, mechanical pencils, coloured pencils and a white gel pen.

European pencil brands are the best (: although my favourites are Bruynzeel and Derwent, I used an Italian pencilset this time, Giotto di Natura, which is the same set that I used for my Jensen drawing:

Am I supposed to say something, or...?

Spent 3 days on drawing Flynn vs Chuck with a total of 20 hours I think. Mostly done at night.
