Hi
I drew this artwork of Final Fantasy VII's Cloud Strife a couple of months ago. However, I couldn't submit it because it was a present for one of my brothers and he likes to check out my gallery once in a while so there you go. I had to wait!
I never ever draw with colored pencils so I had a hard time over here. I hope you don't mind the poor scan
I know it sucks and it took away the beautiful colors.This actually is a copy of the official artwork, but since I worked so hard on it (and I'm really proud and satisfied of how it turned out) I thought it would be nice to submit it anyway.
Approx 20 hours of work, probably even (a lot) more.
Don't ask me what kind of pencils I used, because I used all kinds of crappy colored pencils which were hard to handle!

For some reason, the older style Cloud here looks like he belongs to a Dragon Ball Z show, must be that Super Saiyan hairstyle. But I like the newer, realistic version better.
Colouring aint that bad considering you do mostly B/W sketches

I just realised something, when I first found out about DA it was during my phase when i used to do LOADS of sketches in the back of my diary and looking through them i found one of this

Can't wait for the remake either! But are you sure it's gonna be a game for PS3? Not PS2 as well? That would be too bad, but a great move. PS3 doesn't sell well, but it will once they'll sell a FFVII remake.

well PS3 it's already for sale, so maybe it will be for that one... or maybe for PS2, anyway you can play PS2 and PS1 games on PS3.. (i supose xD)

Anyway, what I tried to say was... maybe you should try to draw with colored pencils? I first tried to draw with the colored pencils as well, just on simple paper until I was sure enough I could draw this!
