Hi
I drew this artwork of Final Fantasy VII's Cloud Strife a couple of months ago. However, I couldn't submit it because it was a present for one of my brothers and he likes to check out my gallery once in a while so there you go. I had to wait!
I never ever draw with colored pencils so I had a hard time over here. I hope you don't mind the poor scan
I know it sucks and it took away the beautiful colors.This actually is a copy of the official artwork, but since I worked so hard on it (and I'm really proud and satisfied of how it turned out) I thought it would be nice to submit it anyway.
Approx 20 hours of work, probably even (a lot) more.
Don't ask me what kind of pencils I used, because I used all kinds of crappy colored pencils which were hard to handle!

This is very nice...I've always loved FF7 for the storyline and characters...Wish they would really remake the game again. This brings back fond memories.

hmm ya i did...but some people keep saying they won't do it...I dunno if they did it i would really want to buy it n their artbooks too if any...Well to me I always thought it was the best of the series in the whole finalfantasy....Well to me that is...The humour there is compelling.

Well I agree with you. The storyline of FFVII is just great, very well writen. I would love to see (and get!) a new version of FFVII. I bet many people will buy it and besides... there are plenty of (younger) people who haven't played the game yet, but have seen the movie.

Haha that is true because the story is compelling to human nature. And understanding what human nature might be is probably the key to a good story :3

Wow, you did a great job of this! I know that pic like the back of m hand, I've seen it soo many times. I tried to draw i once when I was like 12. totally destroyed it, lol. hey, why don't you just wass with the contrast in photoshop and stuff? maybe use the sponge tool, you know? well, yeah, peace!

I don't really have to need to fix it. It's more like I want to show what other stuff I can do as well, aside from drawing portraits. Thanks for the tip though

oh yeah, I love orchestras! I used to play oin it at school, lots of fun. the strings just give me goosebumps! I sooo want to play XII! And I saw a preview for XIII!! I nearly melted. . .m mm

Great, I still think Cloud is one of the best anime-characters, speaking in terms of designing. He has a certain style that sets him apart. And, of course, his big ass kitchencleaver.
