I 'tried' to colour my Roses are Red drawing a couple of months ago. I'm not sure yet about the result, but I'm practicing xD expect more attempts in the (near?) future. Oh dear lord!
Used Photoshop for the colouring.
Pencils for drawing the original.
Aaaand.... that's about it. I guess?
Yeah, I'm a happy person.

My first thought was it'sa photo. Then i thought about colouring pencils. then i read you did this using photoshop and i though 'fuck me, it's stunning!' XD

I can recognize her a mile away because of the wondeful Charmed, Rose is an amazing actress. Now your piece looks just like a photo, and the detail is amazing! Great Job!

I love Rose McGowan.
This is an incredible drawing. It is as recognisable as a photograph and the detail around her hands and eyes is perfect. The whole thing is impossible to fault. The colouring is subtle but effective and the detail in the hair is beautiful and natural.
You're clearly exceptionally talented. = )

Hey, all you need to do with YOUR black and whites is put some solid color layer over it in Photoshop, and you're done.
So any FURTHER effort would only improve! Well done!

how did you get that texture digitally? It looks grainy like pores, like you used colored pencil on paper. Normally PS makes things look smooth! It must take lot of skill and effort!
