Description
I had no idea in which category I had to put this, so I added it to resources/tutorials because it does show what I use for a drawing. Right?I bought a few new drawing materials (a.k.a. toys
Let me explain what they all mean...
-----:~:-----:~:-----:~:-----:~:-----:~:-----:~:-----:~:-----
In my Left hand:
- Now since I have to work all over the place, it's nice to have a really long pencil so I won't smudge anything. I got this one a few days ago.
(Had to take picture with my right hand in case you're thinking I'm left-handed, because I'm not. I can draw pretty much the same with left as with right though.)
On top:
- I switch between them for rough and fine lines. I also like to use regular pencils when I want to draw smooth looking areas like clothing because they are easy to blend.
- To wipe away eraser...stuff. It costed me quite some β¬uros, but it works great. This one's new too.
- For blending small parts of the drawing. Now there aren't many small parts because the drawing is pretty huge (A3) but I want to make it look as good as possible so there you go...!
- Which makes my hand look ridiculously out of proportion. I think I got that sharpener when I was like 8 years old lol. It's still doing its job.
- Although it does look like it, it's not bubblegum!
- To keep track of time ^__^ If you need free time, ask =Washu-M for more info.
-----:~:-----:~:-----:~:-----:~:-----:~:-----:~:-----:~:-----
This is also another update of my drawing of my hero Mike Portnoy! I posted this for the MP forum members who are really awesome & helpful.

Waar in Utrecht heb je die spullen gehaald? Het ziet er echt supergoed uit en de hobbywinkel in mijn dorpje is failliet, maar aangezien ik pal naast Utrecht woon... O:

How do you control the tip of the pencil when you use that extender... I know what you mean by smudging the drawing with the side of your hand, but I've tried scooting back on my pencil to reach a spot and I can't keep it and precise. It's fidgety.

ok i have a question..ive seen alot of people holding..the pencil like from the end.? is it just because you dont want to cover the drawing when its a tutorial or would that be a more effective way to hold the pencil for shading?? lol..weird question but..need to know

The Kneaded eraser is my favorite. I have a red one and i love taking it to school, i pretend to chew it and gross out my friends by asking if they want a piece. But usually i just play with it , i take it apart and make little figures out of them... aww the good old days ^_^

Wow, that's it? All the other artists I've seen have like, an ARSENAL of crap they use for artwork, like, "Well, I used that other paper but I didn't like it and if you don't use THIS KIND of pencil YOU WILL DIE"..Yada yada.. And yes, the eraser looks like teh nom-nom gum.

Not just a DT fan;
a HUGE DT fan
I assume you really like them too? (:
LTE is good (Acid Rain is my favourite song of theirs) but I like it better when LaBrie is singing along ~_^ I enjoy listening to his voice.
Thank you!!

Yep, I love DT as well, particularly Images and Words and Awake. I just can't get into LaBrie's voice sometimes though. I gets a little annoying.
LTE is also very cool, and I'm more into instrumental music so it suits me a little more.

Q:
What type of paper do you use? I find that all the papers that I've used make it so that the page shows through my drawing... and no matter how much i'm shading a part of the page I can't seem to cover it all w/ making it really dark.
