I'm just really enjoying everything about this piece. The pose is eye-catching in its relaxed simplicity, and her outfit works well with it, looking both practical and flattering. Not going to lie, it really favors her curves in all the right places while remaining quite tasteful. All the little details of her jewelry, belt and walking stick slowly draws the eye out from the figure and helps encourage the viewer to look upon all the other wonderful background additions. I've always been a fan of your background textures, and in this case there's that and so much more to admire, further enhanced by the subtle use of light in the corners and then radiating out behind her. This piece really makes me want to learn more about the character.

The time stamps for when I sent the first sketches to the commissioner was July 18th and I posted the final on August 29th, so about a month and a half for everything. I'm not sure how long the background took specifically, though. I mostly worked on it towards the end. I'll post all the steps I took to complete this next week so everyone can see~
