Alternate title: what the crap is wrong with my tail.Mysterious space-like lynx cat strikes again! >:3 Though this time I will say she is my new (currently unnamed) fursona
To be honest I felt like I outgrew my old one, I think this one represents me much better.I screwed up the anatomy kind of a lot here but whatever, all that shiny makes up for it >:C
Her tail doesn't usually do this by the way, I think she got high on chocolate.

You should really use a wider palette, at the moment the only thing separating the blue of the cat from the blue of the sky is the light blue outline. Poor design overall really.
Also your moon looks like a pile of whipped cream. You should start with an actual circle and texture it from there instead of just scribbling until you made a circle.
Also I suggest using a wider variety of brushes and to adjust them so they aren't always soft edges. It's painful to look at an image someone made where they forgot to adjust such a thing.

Thank you for the critique, even if it wasn't asked. I can tell you didn't hold back or sugarcoat much, which I appreciate, though others may not.
I know what you mean about all the soft edges, it's always been a bad habit of mine. And I realize the moon is extremely sloppy, I was experimenting and screwed up, but I couldn't do much to fix it.
To be honest, this whole picture was pretty spur of the moment, and involved a lot of--like I said, experimenting; some of it turned out decent, other things didn't. This is also kinda old though, I've been meaning to move it off my front page.
I'm curious though-- how did you stumble upon my lonely little corner of dA, and feel the need to critique something of mine? Not that I'm too offended, it's just that I don't get very many comments much. (Which I also don't care about.)
