Truth to be told, I need to continue my storyline, as for it has the reason as to why Teo is so much around now. But as he did come with his cousing Gloria to the polo match, he decided to also bring his 'son' Barkley along to jump. He loves how much his little steed has come along <3

Also this is for the event Equestrian-KV is hosting! once again I invite you to check it out, as there is a looooot of classes and interesting ones!

NOTE: There's no way to make Barkley accept the leg protection on his back legs, so Teo has given up a long time ago. He only uses them on front legs. That's Barkleys main quirck*

Comming along once again for a competition after so long seemed like a good idea. Or at least, that's what he thought when he decided to enter not only to the polo match (after the insistence of his cousing Gloria, who seemed more excited for something in the longest time he could remember) but jumping too. He could try his hand at dressage too, maybe... but he did not want to excert Barkley too much. After all, it has been a long time since going out and about. But he was happy, nonetheless, to be out and about with his steed. From the lanky 4 year old he recieved, he was kind of surprised how much the stallion have grown up and easily learned (And himself, too. Most of the work one on the horse was thanks to Jim and Martina, who both supervised the horse's training in general.)

When entering the arena and the day seemed to be just gloomy and overall a black-clouded day, Barkley couldn't care less. And as the horse seemed not to be distracted by it at all, he just focused on relaxing and enjoying the ride. And man, it felt good. After months onboard, he was finally able to get his own tack and he felt proud to be able to show his horse with it all.

It was small things. really small things, compared to the expectation of most people, he supposed. But it seemed as a weight lifted off his shoulders, finally, and when Jim wished him good luck as he entered the arena alone, that weight was left behind completely.

I am going throught a depressive episode (once again) as you might know. Energy is not really something I possess most of the days, but at least I got recently the help I needed and one of the things that does help me is drawing for MYSELF, too. Commissions are still open, as even tho I'm trying to do better, life continues to be a little shit to me xD
