He was right back in Obertauern in that one interview. Thank the almighty and his own guardian angel he decided to bring Riga to the last leg, as he was 'standing' in his last leg. He was tired, and Riga made things easier.
That train and ferry ride couldn't be long enough. He got untroubled sleep, he go to shower (more than once if he was honest) and mingle a little bit with people; maybe not that much as people would have expected from him back home, but he used all the time he could to just sleep and rest.

The way into Norway was a trickery one, with deep, deep snow, long nights and bitting cold. Riga, however, seemed not to mind. She raced, and wanted to go fast, and wanted to do whatever she believed it was what he desired. Honestly? As much as he was liking the challenge, he wanted TWD to be done. He missed his family. He missed home, and most importantly, he missed Dagna. Did he honestly trade a Christmas with her to this?

He did.
Was he having regrets about it?
...He wasn't sure. But, again, he missed her.

The nothern lights seemed to both lift his mood and make him nostalgic at the same time. It was surreal to run with the war-machine riga was turning into, directly under the dancing colours of the sky that seemed to impregnate the snow in a different color at night. Now and then, he would let her get her way, basically sprinting and pushing her body over the snow as an icebreaker would, and he would do the best to move along her; she would race the lights, the wind, and even raced some moose under the lights. But then, he would need to regain control, as he did not really want to injure her, or loose track of the way they were heading. He needed to stop altogether now and then to make sure his navigation skills were not failing them and going on the right direction; Riga did not appreciate that, not really, and would let him know - quietly. As Riga always was.

As tired as he was, she really was thankful for her.
