Cool book, glad that I read it when I was younger. Now every time I see a manhole cover I just know there are Morlocks down there. I love your homage so very much...but I never quite pictured the hero looking anything like this!!! Ha!

Ging mir ähnlich... die Morlocks vergisst man nicht so schnell... Auf den ersten Blick scheint es nicht so und für heutige Verhältnisse sind die Masken albern, aber tief drinnen ist es ein ziemlich unheimlicher und pessimistischer Film...
Das Prop für die Zeitmaschine sieht spektakulär aus, auch so ein ShareCG Juwel...

Der Film ist um Meilen besser, als die spätere Verfilmung, die zwar auch nicht schlecht war, aber thematisch etwas anders gelagert.
Aber als Angst einflößender, unheimlicher Film ist der von 1959 unübertroffen. Obwohl der noch nicht die Spezialeffekt von heute hatte
Überhaupt haben die ganzen Filme aus dieser Zeit eine besondere Athmosphäre, die KEINE Nachmachung von heute übertrifft.

Never saw the movie picture, but having read the book as I child I was struck with the depressing outlook at the future mankind...
I think, this one is really good done, I love the lighting and the skin of the man looks great. Almost didn't notice the monster in the shadow

This is the old problem about how to show a dark thing in front of a dark background.
I have brighter skins for the monsters, but they don't look good here
