This is absolutly stunning. I love it, and the harness is perfect. The scene looks very realistic. Well done.

Thank you! I just start out with a photo of real horse tack and then I sketch it out on paper and keep altering my pattern until it looks right (which takes a very long time! lol!) Then I copy my pattern on to paper again so I have a spare in case I mess up (and I do mess up a lot!) then I cut it out of leather, glue it all together and there you have it! A completely authentic miniature western saddle! And it took me a long time before I finally got them to look right but it's worth it!
I get most of my supplies at this great web site that has everything you would ever need to make saddles, and they have kits! It's called riorondo! Here is a link if you want to check it out :[link]

I asked them to send me a catalog but it never came but thank's for the tip. I need to make tack and finish repainting one and oi... so much to do and absolutly no time to do it in. >.<

Suggestions, hummm...It's best if you start out with a pattern book that gives instructions, and a photo of a real harness. Don't get discouraged if the first one you make doesn't look too good, just keep practicing. Then, once you get good at making them you can alter patterns and make your own design!
