I know a lot of stamps were already made on this subject matter, but I just had to ask.When did it become such an in thing ?
Now when a girl comes out and says she's the proud KING OF ENGLAND,
I'll be impressed.
But truth of the matter is, anyone can be a gamer. Who cares.

I like girl gamers, but only if they're genuine gamers. I don't like girls who only play video games because their boyfriend is a gamer or because they think Sora/Cloud/Link/etc. is cute. (Thank God Mario isn't most girls' idea of cute.) That doesn't make you a true fan.

As a girl, thank you for this. I hate it when females get into gaming out of an obsession for male attention, but not for the games themselves. If your gender -male or female - is that critical to the reason you're in, then why ARE you in?

I've been a female gamer for MAJORITY of my life and it's never made me special. Yeah, maybe I did get a swarm of guys a few times when I was playing Pokemon on the GBA, but now? Nada.
Besides it's for ENJOYMENT. The girls saying they're gamers and hashtagging (whatever the fuck that is) #LOLCoD, #Yes i'm a girl and I play video games, or just taking selfies with a controller or headset...... oh, not to mention just TALKING about CoD..... yeah, that's not a gamer girl, that's a slut with a controller getting her fingerprints on the disc.
And you know what? Because of them, people automatically think I play CoD. No fucking thanks =A=
I guess when girls notice true gamer girls getting swarmed with guys, they do it just for that purpose, to get a gamer boyfriend. I think that's the "in" thing you're looking for... that's basically how I look at it.

I do support girl gamers (even though I'm a guy), but after seeing this stamp, I'm starting to think about it more. Personally, I don't care what gender a gamer is. You're a guy gamer? I'm okay with it. You're a girl gamer? I'm okay with that too. Personally, as long as they just enjoy the game as much as I do, they're cool in my book.

I only support girl gamers to a point. I'm a female gamer myself, and the girls in my community just go all, "I play Call of Duty~" just to get a guy's attention.
........ Seriously, in general, if a someone doesn't know who Link and Zelda are, and that the guy in the green tunic and hat is NOT ZELDA, then they're gamers. Call of Duty isn't going to cut it =-=

I'm one of those people who "started it" I guess. Some girls caught me playing Pokemon and a bunch of boys swarm over me (I was playing Pokemon, of course it's the SHIT) and I guess they got the idea if they played video games, they'll get a bunch of guys.
The Call of Duty thing, I have no clue what people see in it. I personally use the game for anger management, because shooting people (I actually use Left 4 Dead for anger now) in a game is quite relaxing. It's basically the same thing over and over..... at least, that's what I think.

Ah I'm glad one of these stamps were made. I am too a girl gamer but don't go around saying it unless I am mistaken for a man online, but don't rub it in. Some girls (around the ages from 12+) use the excuse of being a girl gamer to be treated respectfully in games, get special gifts and etc like that which I quite find funny. They rub it in people's faces to get attention (lol attention whores these days), try to hook up with a guy (they could be any age, beware the internet of creepers) or trying to impress people by being a girl gamer (which eventually leads to abuse or getting trolled). I don't know why its ongoing either -_-' Must be a guy thing.

there are many communities around the world where girls that play videogames are afraid to admit it because they are bullyied for it. And when we finaly find a site like DA, we don't want to be treated diferently than any other gamer. We don't want to be fingerpointed because we are girls and we don't want to be bullyied for it as well. If i have to stand out from the rest, i want to do it because i'm good, not because i'm female.
