Some people don't like to hand draw art these days, seeing as some people are more skilled with digital art than drawing. I appreciate digital art just as much as any other style, but traditional hand drawings are still nice to see too. But this piece is beyond that. After taking the time to gather my thoughts, I've found that this is more than just good, or even great- it's flawless. The original style of work is a welcome change, clearly demonstrating the beauty of such a chilling scene (pun intended) as well as giving the overall piece a thematic style similar to the work of Van Gough. Furthermore, the vision of this piece demonstrates a true artistic passion and the technique indescribable talent, taking any and all possible shortcomings and turning them into advantages. For example, while in some pieces visible sketch marks can be problematic, this piece uses them to aid in the depiction of the wind and snow by giving the paper a visible texture. It is possible that I'm a little biased because I can't hand draw anything (at least not well) and I may overhyping this as a result, but I believe that it just helps me to appreciate the immense amount of work that must have gone into this piece. Overall, there is no way I can think to improve this piece; it is the epitome of artistic perfection.
