George and Tugger make the cutest cuddly couple ever! I hope you don't mind me going to my more cartoony style with this one - I think it fit better with the over all vibe that you wanted.

What's George's alternate name?
I love how Cats is so ambiguous, and there are only like two or three canon pairings (even those depend on the country). You can ship almost anyone and nobody can say it's not canon because the musical never says who's with who. And somehow everyone is adorable with each other.

And exactly - there are no for sure set cannon pairings, which makes the show so unique and fun to interpret.

The only real canon pairings are Demeter and Munkustrap, Growltiger and Griddlebone, Bombalurina and RumTumTugger, and RumTumTugger and Mistofelees(if you're in Mexico, at least). Even those are super debatable.

Yeah. I kept coming back to this drawing and staring at it and how much I loved it, but could never form the right words to express my gratitude. And then it'd slip my mind after a long week at work, and finally getting a day off. (A perfect time to respond and I'd forget. *sigh*) But I absolutely love it. Tugger is one of those characters that I love him paired with anyone and he looks GOOD paired with anyone.

And awesome, I'll send you a note soon. There's one commission I would like you to draw, but I haven't gotten her drawing up yet. I have her scanned in, but its one of two drawings I'm working on digitally. So I won't have either up for a while yet. So I won't mention that commission until I'm done and have uploaded her drawing. (I might try and do a quick sketch of her and color her traditionally, just so you'll have a reference) Chances are I'd be able to upload that before I got around to finishing her digital image. Anyway, I'll send you a note about it either before I head to work today, or when I come home tonight.

On a random note, I think for a period of time, I am going to let people use the flyfox bases and the Ru bases to come up with their own designs. Do you think folks would be into that?

I know. I am not as diverse as your drawings are, but I definitely feel like I need to rotate my personal projects with Canon Characters, and with my gifts to others all the time so they all get equal attention. And I end up not finishing the drawings anyway, and finish the drawings I want to finish in my own time. So I unsuccessfully rotate my art. xD
Yeah I think people would. You could do something similar to what I've seen other people do. Where they'll make a journal about MYO (Make your own). For the Hoshinoko's there are three subsets, and just replying to the journal gave you one place for a common Hoshinoko, replying to the journal and posting a journal to get others to see it gave you one common and one uncommon Hoshinoko. I believe the third was doing both and becoming a watcher or something like that to get 1 common, 1 uncommon, and 1 rare slot. You don't have to do the exact same thing, but something similar. Might help get others more into and involved with the Ru and the Flyfoxes. I know I'd love to see more art of both. ^-^
