Description
A tattoo commission for the lovely JeffnaBootsShe asked for a back-to-back bust shot of the Jacob Brent version of Mistoffelees, and the John Partridge version of Rum Tum Tugger. Doing tattoos for others can be scary. You always want a drawing to be exactly what the commissioner wants, but especially so with tattoos, after all, it is going on their body. We (Jeffna) and I decided to darken Tugger's skin tone a-bit so that he wouldn't wash out against her skin, but I am super glad she is pleased with the result.
I really enjoyed this particular commission! Thanks for the opportunity, JeffnaBoots !

Fantastic! If I were inclined to get tatoos (can't, I'm too changeable for something so permanent) I wouldn't hesitate to get this right on my bicep! Lovely work

Oh my gosh! I've seen a lot of your stuff, but THIS is just to die for! Damn, I never wanted a tattoo till I saw THIS! hahaha! I'd totally do the pain for a Tugger tattoo!
But yeah, ahem. This is really, really good
I LOVE the back-to-back angle, going to give it a shot myself someday lol It's so smooth, and beautifully done, so well done!
Also, late congrats on your pregnancy - how is that going along? Have you had your little one yet? ^_^

Thank you so much! So sorry it has taken so long to get back to you. I had my baby and I’ve been super busy! She and I are doing good - it is just a major adjustment, but I’m getting the hang of it and the middle of the night feeds, lol.
Tugger and Mistoffelees are my favorite- so I totally loved doing this. Thanks again hun!

Oh this looks fantastic! Wonderful job.
I really like the way you did Misto's hair. (I may start picturing him like that in my head from now on)

Thank you!!
I love giving them different head fur. Makes them more "human" I think.

A dynamic duo if I ever saw one. Misto's little fauxhawk it absolutely adorable. And well, John's Tugger is the one I first fell in love with, so I just can't say no to that face. I'm sure this tattoo is going to look absolutely amazing as a finished tattoos.

Thank you, babe! Even if Jacob's Misto didn't have a little faux hawk, it still looks good on him! Misto has the flare to pull it off - and what is there not to love about Tugger? He is awesome.

Thank you very much! I use Adobe Photoshop, and a wacom bamboo drawing tablet.

Cheers, I made the switch to the tablet about to months ago (Intuos art pad) so i could try my hand at digital painting. The one thing that is taking me forever is the lack of line stabilization in Photoshop. At first glance I thought you had used illustrator or a similar program, I am really blown away, not just by your creative but also your technical skills.

A lot of time goes into editing the lines on my drawings. I don't have a stable hand, so I do a lot of touching up and erasing before I am happy with my inked line art. You should see my first digital drawings, they were rough.
I appreciate your feedback though, so thank you again!!
