Description While I haven't gotten around to Griddlebone, Aren-Elsa , I did manage to pop out Mistoffelees! He is one of my favorites, if not my number one favorite cat. I designed him loosely off of the Mistoffelees design currently being portrayed on Broadway, hence the red sparkles. I also wanted to try to make his face somewhat resemble the actor currently portraying Misto on Broadway - Ricky Ubeda. DĀ

Granted, I had to throw my own touch in there and give him a fohawk. c:

Very nice. I adore Misto with a fohawk. For some reason, it just works for him. (I tried giving my sketch of Misto to have a fohawk...it looks awful. I'll keep working on it)

For some reason, I like drawing fohawks on toms, I don't know why. It is not intentional! I think that is just the way I do head fur. XDĀ

Any advice on how to model a cartoon after a person? You obviously did well here with Ricky.

Also, on the subject of Misto, how does one draw an effeminate man? I'm working on a Tuggofelees piece but can't figure out how to not make Misto look like a woman.

Awe, thank you! Ricky is a doll.

A lot of times when I draw androgynous men, I do use female references simple because you'll have a lot of the same muscle structure without the curves. They are thiner typically and have more ofa petite build.Ā  Ricky, for example, is lean and muscular, but he is also short, which gives him the perfect figure to play Misto - if that makes sense? If I have time to do a tutorial, I will!

Okay. That does help. Although, I do particularly have trouble with the jawline. I've seen some drawings of Misto where he has a very slim, smooth jaw. How does one draw a jawline that is sort of in between super manly and square and super feminine?

I think you just got deleted, not banned; at least as far as I can tell. I remember writing with you a little, but not a lot. I actually miss it at times, just gotta resubmit Chromie and Crimson Petals though
