Wow - I finally did it!!This should cover the basics of the Ru, and quite frankly, I am proud of my first EVER species reference sheet. Boom.
All drawings are done by yours truly, except for the two tree house community drawings, which can by found here: Big-Tree Village and Tree Dwellers . Full and complete credit goes to both original artists! I can't/don't do scenery images. It just isn't one of me tricks of the trade.
ANYWAY...here is info on the Ru.

Do Ru's happen to have different shades of blood? Such as blue or green, etc. or is it just translucent red?

Ryn looks like she has wavy hair but she braids it so that could be the explanation? I want to draw her again so much after reading all this! Maybe this weekend ...

So far just one - do Ru ever shave parts of their headfur?

The Su'at tribe are typically more likely to cut they hair than the Miken do. The Miken view long hair as something that ranks them higher. Some Miken will cut their hair due to their jobs, such as hunters, and artisans, but Su'ats will do it for rebellion. Shaving some of their hair off is okay, just no going completely bald.
