Description
An unknown drake wanders around in the cold.The two-tone star a symbol of a "mixer", or a member of a tiny subculture that advocates peaceful trans-specie relations. Mixers- human, drakes, or otherwise- are thought of as traitors, enemies, or a threat. They emerged soon after human-drake trade interactions went completely sour and a corpro-military conflict broke out.
Mixer opposition is much more common. UpDrakes, Huists, and other species-supremist groups greatly outnumber them. Violence against mixers isn't unusual, especially towards those with trasns-specie romantic ties (who're called, most offensively, "scrapers"
). ----
It snowed today, and I'm chilly too. An equally chilly paintsketch seemed to be called for.
(And who knew the drakes were up to so much since I've been away)

I have to say, this is a rather cool thing. Nice job with the breath. Although, I think his legs should be a little wider. His eye looks a little painted, but good expression.
I like your idea for a backstory. I'm gonna investigate now, hand me my torch (and here was me thinking he was a loon at a music festival!).

Hell yeah. But they may not wear it everywhere- maybe at get-togethers, rallies, etc And it's not that it'll automatically bring about violence, but it *will* cause people to talk, so it takes a confidence to sport it so openly. It's done with makeup, so it can come off.

Cool, I'd like to see what a chill event like a party would be like between mixers. Man, drake friends would be cool. Drake boy friends would be odd, but at least it wouldn't be a "furry" thing.

Ha, me too. It's a real complicated issue concerning tran-species pairings- how much of the same DNA is enough to make it okay? Not to mention all the medical problems that *do* arise- I have one char that's already a freak because of that XD.

Hrm, kinda. The main issue is more that every species should get along, those who intermarry are a tiny aspect of it. It'd be more like supporting, say, Iraqi citizens.
