Finally did a thorough spec-pic/redesign for one of the older hazmat creatures-> [link]

Mid-Late Emergent
2m-40m and up
Glowwyrms, "drug-pimps", "petal-heads", are a marvel of biochemistry. Related to bipedal drakes, these creatures are Nature's toxin desposal team. Able to safely digest and render harmless dozens of poisonous chemicals, they make a living lounging about old toxic-waste dumps, chemical spills, and old chemical factories. They are little more than a sock of flesh. Inside is a giant digestive track with bulbs, each organized to digest a different chemical class, most harboring recently evolved anobacteria to do the work. Giant glowing bubbles of flesh store toxins safely away from its delicate organs until they can be disposed and possibly containing their own important chemical processes. Tough "sepals" grow around its face made of stored solidified toxins, growing longer with age until they gain a glowing eye in the center. A hollow tongue acts as a tough proboscis to siphon in harsh chemicals without damaging the fleshy mouth.

Because of their caustic diet, their flesh is infused with poison so that they enjoy a predator-free lifestyle. Highly aggressive, they defend their stash-territory visciously against other wyrms, and will eat any organic matter if it is within reach. Wyrms also amazingly only ever have benign tumors, old wyrms cluttered in the bublbous things.

Glowwyrms can grow to incredible girth, length, and ages, each depending on the amount of food around their feeding area. They are not keen to move far- or at all- after they reach the incredibly fat 50m + mark, and may then die at an age of two centuries or more, finally returning needed organic material back into the ecosystem.

No sexual activity has been seen between wyrms, and it's assumed that they are each capable of bearing dozens of clone-young per clutch parthenogenically. As small and thin "glowsnakes", the foot-long neonates rush to find a suitable stash-territory stocked with food.

Debate on their mental ability rages, some sighting claims to sentience while other see them as little more than drug-parasites, with as little extraneous processes as possible.
