The sense of movement and life you can infuse in your characters is amazing. Your line/inkwork is amazing, it seems like you're already at a professional level in a lot of ways. I always want to know more about your characters ... they're just so downright uncanny. You need your own comic series or tv show or something XD I'd watch it. Japan would watch it. Just curious as to where you think youll go with your art, do you think you will do art for a living, illustration or somesuch thing? You'd certainly kick butt o_o

Thanks so much! It really helps that I enjoy what I do so much, even if the actual work of making art is boring. I plan on going to art school [*crosses fingers while being drowned in apps*] or at least getting a career in some sort of illustration. If I could work as a comic artist [check out `mooncalfe !] that would *so* rock, but that has a slim chance of happening.

you'll totally be able to get into whatever college you want with your skillz. I'm aiming to go to art school in the fall. I'm thinking of SCAD for sequential art, or RMCAD in Colorado for animation ... just depends on who accepts me or what place i like better when I visit. I wanna be um. Illustrator/storyboarder/art director type thing. I'd love to do comics too though. I don't think it's as slim a chance as you say, if you work hard and have the desire i am sure you'll do fine. ^^ you're already well ahead of me and I'm nearly 22 ;;

I've heard SCAD loves to throw scholarships at people o_o, buut i dont have a portfolio so I'll be paying for everything x_x; I suppose I could put something together. I obviously have a lot of art laying around but none of it is really 'portfolio material'. Or atleast the last art school I showed it to hated it ;; i also dont have access to life drawing classes or anything. I guess I could draw my cat or something c_C

Portfolios are a bitch. I keep feeling like mine are horrendous, since art is so ambiguous I have no idea how people will feel about it- it varies so much. So uncool. And boring observational stuff is all they ever want. Bleh. So don't feel bad, SCAD still looks like an awesome school
