Description
We felt it before we saw it, a deep vibration surging through air- a monstrous heartbeat.It has emerged from the sea and followed the moutnains, its immense footsteps immentently aimed toward the village. We flew past swiftly, daringly, into its shadow, the cranes shivering underneath their saddles. The assesment was grim. There is nothing we can do to stop it but hope it turns to spare our lives.

The Black Critical appears.
This state is new and needs exploration, as it's drastically broken form from traditional criticals. Originally I wanted to draw glowy heart and veins, and it came in to this.
Trying to kick my ass in to the next level and actually work at full force [or: detaildeath, argh!]. Will do things somethings differently next time, but I'm hoping this is a good start.

Awesome, extremely well done, i love the detail, right now im practicing for an art competition thats in 6 month for 20 thousand bucks, I can enter something traditional but i'd rather go all oout with something digital, can you reccomend how to do something that requires a lot of precise symmetry like mecha, i have all the necessary supplies.

Crazy splattering of detail to make such an awsome piece of work! I especially liked this one even more after I saw your work from 1999 to present. Just shows what determination and continual commitment brings force. Although it is not attained by many..... and to represent a forgotten heart seem to ring a tone of irony.

monsters eh? big scary things that give villagers something to fear...
The piece though is very well executed - reminds me why digitally created stuff is still a valid form of creativity ( I used to have 'issues' with this ), and why in my own little way I smear pixels about like a good 'un when I can.
My only real complaint is that it's NOT AVAILABLE FOR A PRINT!!!!
Seriously - on a large print size to get the scale, that would be the kind of picture that would stop people in their tracks.
