I use heat set genesis paints, have you tryed them?? Expensive but great to work with.

No but I'm working on a sculpture now and I was trying to decide what to use to paint her with. I will have to look for them.

they are awesome you can use them even for canvas you should youtube it. there's a video on how to mix and apply the paints you can leave them out and they won't dry out till you are ready to set it with heat! ANd a little goes a long way, I mean a little you know what here's the link for you it like water you can wash really easy yet it looks and feels like oil [link]
