yeah, drawn out pacing is par for the course when it comes to manga adapted anime. Especially if that anime is reliant on an ongoing manga series that has frequent breaks and needs time to catch up to itself. Plus the nature of tv is such that the story should last as long as it can on principle. Still, I see what you mean, lol. Drawn out doesn't even BEGIN to describe DBZ. But, damn it, I sure did eat all those slow paced episodes up
