Is it bad that I can tell when something is colored by you just by glancing at it, now?

Yes and no?
It's interesting, I'd rather people not notice my colors and just notice the artwork in general, but I guess it's flattering that I've defined myself as a colorist?
I dunno anymore. I feel douchey when I feel too strongly opinionated anymore.

Well, no matter what, in my opinion, you've always greatly enhanced the artwork you've worked on.
For example, seeing Takeshi Miyazawa's art on Ultimate Comics Spider-Man #7 this month was weird, because I'm so used to his Spidey characters having your colors behind them. I actually didn't recognize his work at first because of how... DIFFERENT it looked. Not necessarily bad. But, even though it resembled the Mary Jane books you guys did, it clearly wasn't the same.
Similarly with both PIXIE STRIKES BACK and STRANGE, I thumbed through the issues while killing time at work (my family owns a comic store. ), and I remember thinking, "Hey, this coloring looks way familiar. Is this... *flips to credits* ...yeah, it totally is Christina Strain. Awesome."
So, at the very least, you're getting me to actually sit down and read stuff that I otherwise wouldn't.
I appreciate your modesty, though.

Awwww! Thanks! Yeah, I have no problem admitting that I'm sad I didn't get to color Takeshi on Ultimate Spidey but it's Justin's book so I understand. I haven't colored him in a while though, it feels weird seeing other colors on him just cause it makes me go... but... that's not how I do it!!! XD Yeah, not bad just... not how I'd do it!
Awwwww, thanks for picking up Pixie. Kath is AWESOME, and yes, Pixie is TRIPPY. Issue two is trippy too, more stabby stabbiness. It's crazy sauce. I will say that issue 2 is heavy on the crazy colors so hopefully it's entertaining at least.

I'm all for the crazy colors. Working in a comic shop, seeing a lot of the same basic colors all the time can make one numb to them... So letting the colorist go nuts is always a fun change of pace.
And, y'know. Stabby stabbiness. I'm all for that in X-Men books. ESPECIALLY SINCE WOLVERINE IS TOO CUDDLY TO STAB ANYTHING ANYMORE!

XD! I wasn't even intentionally referencing that issue, but I think it helps to prove my point. I mean, I'm all for character development, but Wolverine needs more stabby time.

As much as I like this art, I'm sorta on the fence about checking it out; mostly because I'm not much of an X-Fan.

It is... very trippy. XD I mean, I don't want to force anyone to pick anything up, so I won't tell you you have to, but it is pretty!

Yeah, you wouldn't know it if you read most of the solicits, interviews and other various promotions for the book.
Colorists aren't people.
