so...I watched the tut video and the effects only appear in animation/video mode and not in single-frame renders?

you have to use the transparency still it doesnt have to be animated you just have to mess with the transparency until you get the frame you want

I am quite new to these effects.
I am thinking that effect you show in the picture. Is that the the one that some people use to transition from one model to another? Ive seen a 'follow the leader' dance video where that effect is used and I would love to use it

Hahah I am glad I am not the only one who has come across that problem xD I got folder that has a majority of them so I am playing around with it now. I am making a womanizer video Just to test out some of the effects. Its rather interresting to do
But Id also love learn to do models. I have no idea how to do that. I can upload the items but from there Im blank.

Its so annoying. I have had problems with MMD on my old laptop and it took me so long to figure it out. And when I finally did MME wouldnt show up and then it stopped working again because of that .dll file missing or something.
I cant even remember how I made it work on my new laptop. But Im so glad I didnt give up on it. I've been so amazed and interrrested in this since I saw a video of MMD Galaxias. Haha. And when people use Sims 4 models it made me even more like OMG
Speaking of.. if you make videos. Do you also have problems with editing softwares not accepting AVI files? I found a way to change it though but its a very annoying way to have to convert the videos to another format all the time.
Sorry for my long message. Its just nice to talk to someone who knows about MMD or a least more than me ^_^
