Laika knew that the heroes of old would be no help against the Wraith. They knew of it's threat and did nothing about it, preferring to sit quietly in their nest and caves. No, they needed a new hero. One that had already proved itself against the Wraith's servants. The memory of the giant stryx who had saved her from the Spectre with a strength that defied the natural limits. In her search, she had heard tales of a large stryx who dwelled in cave high in the mountains, and whom had slain a hydra that was lurking among the rocky crags a few days before. In the hopes that this was the stryx she sought, Laika set out to track the mysterious stryx to it's lair.
